Corrado Euro Headlights

Euro Headlights

Rating: Thumbs-Up! Thumbs-Up! Thumbs-Up! Thumbs-Up! Thumbs-Up! Definitely worth the price!

Car: Corrado G60 & SLC

Cost: Approximately $385 for G60's, $500 for the SLC from PG Performance. You may also want to consider a headlight relay as well.

Impressions:

In our search for something good to buy for the Corrado G60 or SLC the options seem to be endless. You can bolt up almost any tuners part for a couple added horsepower or better looks. When it comes to the things our cars are lacking, one of the most apparent is brought to your attention the when night falls.... BAD HEADLIGHTS! This might not be of the cheapest modification made to your car but definitely one of the best. The first thing to consider is the cost: $385 ~ $500. If you drive your car at the speeds its capable of at night, or even if you don't, you'll find the European specification lamps can almost not be "out-driven." As far as looks are concerned, these are also far superior to the hazed over U.S. lamps. If you are wondering what makes these so much better besides being brighter, it's simple... focused light. The beam is directed where its supposed to be, not where-ever it falls on the road. In a very simple description, I'll make a sad attempt at showing the difference just using the key board.

Euro Spec: Left ___/ Right ___/

It's hard to really get the picture, but trust me, they are 20x's the light you might currently have. When properly aimed the fogs become completely useless, where as now you are probably depending on them for daily use! If and when you decide to purchase these, don't forget the car you're driving comes from the factory with a very poor way of wiring the headlamps. Do yourself a favor and opt for the installation of relays between the switch and headlight. After I installed the Euro lights, I thought I had it all until a friend with the same headlights showed up with relays and my lights looked brown in comparison. The relay will also save you the cost of a headlight switch down the road because its not directing all the power through the switch anymore.

How much is your safety worth ?
